Where Is It? Find Any City, Country or Landmark
Try a different spelling or check the search box below.
What is the Where Is tool?
The Where Is tool lets you pinpoint any city, country, mountain, island or other geographic feature on an interactive globe. Enter a name in the search box and you get an instant, visual answer: the globe rotates to the place, showing you its exact position on Earth.
Each place gets its own dedicated page with key facts — country, region, coordinates, population, timezone, elevation — plus a list of nearby cities and a link to the same-latitude tool.
How to use it
Start typing in the search box above. Suggestions appear as you type; select one to go to its page. On a place page the globe automatically rotates to the location and drops a pin. You can still drag the globe to explore, zoom with the scroll wheel, or double-click to reset the view.
